3D Foundations Studio

We were to explore and construct with wood for the most recent project in my 3D class. We were asked to glean our inspiration from the Bauhaus movement/school. Here is my tribute to Josef Albers.

I was surprised to find that wood felt more restrictive than metal and presented its own challenges. I am looking forward to our next project in which I have the ability to combine both metal and wood or any other medium. I am working on creating miniature dioramas with found objects.

Cute Little Monsters

My son Zachary draws cute little monsters that I have started to needle felt. Needle felting is quite a process and takes time; the more detailed, the more time it takes. As an additive process, I thought it would work well for a stop motion video. It is amazing that this one minute video took me over 20 hours to shoot and edit!
